New Year's Eve

This new year's eve we started off the night at David and Amie's house. We played rockband for a little while we them and some other good friends. After a little while we decided to head over to my brothers house to join the rest of my family. We have spent the last couple of new years with my brothers and my dad so it was fun to hang out. Also my uncle and cousin, who live in North Carolina were there too. So it was really good to see them again. We brought in the new year over there.

I am not sure what everyone is doing here.

Christmas Day (Evening)

So Christmas Day in the evening we decided to go and play Rockband at David and Amie's house. Some good friends Kris and Brandy came over too. Matt was really excited to play as well. So we let him rock out with the guitar.

Christmas Day

So Christmas day bright and early we got up to see what santa had brought for Matt. He was so excited to be opening more presents. He loved opening presents. Santa brought him some Little Einstiens stuff which he really loves. He was so proud of his rocket.

Ok. This is our last Christmas celebration with family. Since we usually celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve with theo's family and my dad's side of the family. It has been a long tradition to celebrate Christmas with my mom's side of the family usually the week before Christmas or the week after. This year we decided that we would celebrate the Saturday after. We invited my grandparents, my mom, my uncle and my brother's and their kids. Everyone had a good time and all the kids were excited to be opening presents yet again. Since there were so many kids we decided that we would pass out all the gifts and let the kids open them one at a time based on age. This worked very well and was alot cleaner than most Christmas were the wrapping paper is flying around the room.

After the kids opened all the gifts the adults opened the white elephant gifts. It was a lot of fun and there were some pretty neat gifts this year.

Afterwards my brother and his kids and my mom stay over. Theo, my brother, my neice and nephew and myself all took turns playing Rock Band. We purchased this for ourselves for Christmas and we all had a great time playing. The little kids also had a great time posing for the camera.

All in all our Christmas's this year were very good and we enjoyed spending the time with family.

After celebrating Christmas with Theo's family it was time to join my family at my paternal grandmothers house. Ever since I was little we have always celebrated christmas with my grandmother and all my cousins on Christmas Eve. My parents divorced when I was little and since there were no kids on my mom's side of the family other than me and my brothers we always spent the day with my dad's side of the family. Even though Matt had already open presents he was super excited to be opening even more. We enjoyed our time there but didn't stay for long since it was already getting late and we had to get home.
