Madison's Birthday

On Saturday my brother and sister n law had a birthday party for my little neice who just turned two. My sister n law made a cute crown shaped cake for her princess themed party.

Swimming Fun

Since my neices are in from out of town. We decided to take all 5 of them to go swimming at my sister n laws house. She got a new pool this summer and we thought we would go enjoy the nice cold water since it is so hot here. By the way thanks for letting us use your pool Helen, the kids really enjoyed it.

Dad's Birthday

August 5th was my dad's birthday so Friday, August 9th we all decided to get together at his house to celebrate. All of my brothers were there and my grandparents were there for a little while and some of my cousins came over as well. My two neices from California are here for a visit so they were there two. We ate some good food and had cake and cupcakes which all the kids loved. My dad lives right next to a park so the little kids got to go and play at the park for a little while too. We all had a really good time just hanging out and catching up. Thanks for the invite Mary we enjoyed.

Rainbow

So yesterday evening we went outside and there was a beautiful rainbow that was like right above our house. Although you can't tell from the pictures it was actually a double rainbow one very pronounced and the other was very faint.

It is sad how easily we are amused.


Of course Matt just had to take his picture with the rainbow.

Take my Picture Mommy

The other day we were sitting at home on the couch and comes up to me and says " Take my picture mommy." He just wanted me to keep taking his picture over and over again. So here you go. Just a few of his better poses.

Reymond's B-Day Party

My little nephew turned 10 July 5 but because of the holiday and people being on vacation they waited to have his birthday party. We went to the park in Waxahachie which was good because all the little kids could run free and get all their energy out. My two sister in laws made his cake which looked and tasted pretty good. Despite the 100 degree weather we all had a pretty good time.

Family Fun

So Saturday after Theo go off of work he decided to cool off and relax in the pool with Matt. I did mention my pool was small right? Anyways him and Matt played in the pool for a little while before coming inside. Matt loves to act like a big boy and go under water like his daddy.

Saturday evening we invited Benny over with his two boys and my other neice and nephew to come over and hang out for a little while. They kids loved playing on the swing set and in the pool. I think we really need a swing set with about 6 swings so that everyone can swing and they won't all be fighting over the same swing. They had a good time anyways and were pretty good about sharing.
